Women love being looked at, admired, checked out, envied for their beauty, etc., but they don't like being STARED at.

Staring is rude and gives people the creeps. It makes them think you are a stalker or that you hate them and are judging them. Checking a woman out, on the other hand, is a compliment. Learn to tell the difference.

Women often wear revealing clothing because they are insecure about themselves. The media and fashion magazines advertise a lot of skimpy clothing, and the stores are full of barely-there attire. Because they see it on supermodels, women assume that revealing clothing will make them more beautiful or more worthwhile. Plus, stylish clothing that isn't revealing is kind of hard to find these days- trust me, I'm female, and I try to stay covered up, but it's difficult to do so without looking like a granny.
Yes, the provocative clothing produces a lot of attention from males, and yes, we women get pretty uncomfortable sometimes. But think about it- why is there so much skimpy clothing on the market? The answer is that men control the media, the production lines, and every other aspect of the clothing industry. Men like to see women in skimpy clothing, so that's what they make popular, and that's what they produce. So it's not women's fault that skimpy clothing is all over the place. We're just tired as being viewed as nothing but sex objects. We're tired of being reduced to a set of breasts or a nice butt. We want to be seen as real people. We want men to recognize that we are intelligent, and we have personalities. But we also want to be attractive, and that's where the problem comes in for us. What's a woman to do?

I know....its crazy...but the way it was explained to me is this way.

A woman wants to feel sexy and attractive. She picks clothing that makes her feel that way. If the clothes happen to be revealing well...thats ok...as long as the man that is looking...is a man that SHE WANTS to be looking!! Anyone else is just a pervert.

As if that isnt bad enough...I have a really bad habit of looking a woman straight in the eyes when I am talking with her. I actually had a woman do everything she could...like bending forward, hitching up her bra strap, and even pulling the hem of her top down to get me to look at her boobs. When I finally looked down to see what all the commotion was about...she PUTS HER HANDS OVER HER BOOBS AND HAS THE NERVE TO TELL ME TO STOP STARING!!!!

I give up!! If there is the one sane woman in the world that I know is out there somewhere.....please...call me....LOL

I think some women starve for attention more than others. Some of them think that is the only way to intigue a man and they love playing the game of getting a guy to notice them and then moving on to the next man. At times, that results in some kind of violent act and then the woman wonders why.

We don't complain because men stare at us it's the fact that you stare at us with lust that we complain about. We wear revealing clothing because we feel good in it and want to be complimented not stared at with lust.

Being male I am not sure I could give a good anwer, but as I know some women dress for their peer groups approval and possibly their mates but unwanted attention is not their objective.

"She's giving us the silent treatment and we let them think it bothers us." Kill Bill pt 2

Actually dude it's Why do women 'wear', not 'where' because we know where it's at.

Actually they do it because they want us to notice them so they can have a reason to complain. This way they know they're noticed.

It's called insecurity. They need to be looked at; then they complain about it to get more attention.
