The fastest production car at this time is the Bugatti Veyron. I was just in France at the Schlumpf Car Muesum which has one in all its glory on display. Got some great pics!

there is no true answer to this question in Germany there is a privet auto maker for the auto bond and his vehicle will go faster than anything we make is over 200 mph anyday of the week and many are closer so for someone to say the fastest car i can show you one faster land speed 1/4 mile nascar, lemans production so there is no one car the fastest fact there is always something faster

The fastest land car is the Thrust SSC (1,227.985 km/h) but it is no way a street car because of it's huge size and design. but the Fastest Road going production car is the Koenigsegg CCX 395+ km/h (245+ mph).

I think the Bugati Veyron?(dont know how to spell it) 1001hp and 253 mph. I know the Chrystler ME Four Twelve Is pretty fast, but it isnt a production car.
