Internet TV on laptop? Is it worth the one time $30/$40 fee?

Im a cross country truck driver, stopping evenings at a wifi hotspot.

Would you use it? If it is something that you think you would make use of, then it is worth the money. It costs $8-10 for a 2 hour movie at a theater, so if it just a one time fee that's really not so bad.
