Get a job, fight for the girl, and love her like there is no tomorrow!

i think the general consensus here is obvious: ask yourself this question though....if you had a daughter and she was seeing a guy who didn't have a job, would you approve? you would want the best for your daughter like any other parent would and you have to look at it from her dad's point of view. He's probably a hard working guy that worked hard to provide for his family so it's only right that he would want the same for his daughter. I'm sure he doesn't hate you but if you want to be in his good graces you've got to make a change. No one's telling you to go out and get a job as CEO of some big company. Just find some honest work, when you've been on your job for a while, go to her father and have a man to man with him. Tell him that you care for his daughter and that you're going to do what it takes to provide for her. Hopefully, and this may take some time...her dad will gain respect for you. And that's all you really want isn't it?

You could try getting a job then having a talk with her father and explain you job to him. If not then you probly don't care much for the girl in question.

Is that the only problem the dad has with you then I would go get a job, hold that job and prove to the dad you are good enough for his daughter. If you love her that much then do what you got to do. Good luck

Definitely get a job! Maybe her Dad will respect that and let you see the girl you love. But first respect his wishes and that's also how you can have peace between you and her Dad. I think it's sweet and I hope everything works out for you!!!
