I have been using yahoo for aprox. 18 mos. Never encounter this problem before. All of the songs are burnable. I have purchase new cd same problem. have try to e-mail tec support. All I get is they cant open the page.I got the e-mail address from yahoo help. Back to my problem I can download music and buy music, I can create a playlist in yahoo I all so can listen to my music in yahoo, but sadly Yahoo will not let me burn my list. Have anyone had this problem before if so how were you able to fix it. Thanks for your help. Happy independence day too all

several things could be the problem:
1) you are trying to burn CDs designed to work at 1 speed, with a burner that works at a different speed.
2) the CD burner drivers may have become corrupted.
3) The software you are using to burn CDs is unable to communicate with the CD burner due to a harware, software or OS malfunction.
4) you are trying to burn an actual playlist (not the songs, but the document that keeps the songs in order) onto the CD, while telling it they are songs, and your computer is confused.
5) the music songs have hidden security built in to prevent illegal copying and distribution of purchased media.
6) you are mixing up file extensions: CDA, MP3, Midi, Wav and iff are all different file extentions, and not all can be read by an mp3 capable CD player. Your software may know this, and is preventing you from making a mistake.

I cant think of any others off the top of my head, but for a comprehensive detailed tech support, use your phone and contact your media provider tech support service direct. Speak to an actual person (so many are automated these days), and explain your problem in as much detail as you possibly can. The more the better, with no maximum limit!
