this month, my flow is very light, and it has been 5 days and i think it is stoping, but last month it lastes 7 days, and the flow was alot heavier. Is it normal for the way that your period flows, and how long it lasts to verry from month 2 month?

I am 30 years old and my periods have always been weird. When I was younger just the slightest movement and it seemed like all of a sudden I would get a heavy flow and leak all over myself. Now a days my periods are weird because they will be heavy like the first day and then nothing really for the second and third day and then the fourth and fifth day it seems to start again and be heavy. So yeah, periods are weird and I think it's pretty normal. Another thing is if you take birth control pills they tend to make you mess up on counting your days of when you'll start next. It sort of messes up your cycle for about a month or two and if you've had sex it can make you think you're pregnant when you're really not when you first start birth control. I have had this happen a couple of times. The birth control pill caused my period to be a couple of days or more late any time I would start them new. I hope this helps. :)

Its normal it will never be the same every month some months heavier then others then it mightbe lite the next month. Most periods last from at least 3 to 7 days so its normal if u stop 2 days from what ur normal too.

Yep...last month mine was super heavy, this month it was light. I'm usually on a 26 day cycle, instead of a 28. Everybody varies and some girls even have really irregular periods as opposed to others. What you are saying sounds normal, though.

its very noirmal especially if your young or havent had ur periods for more then a year. they start out irregualr whilkd ur body adjusts. it will probably even up after a year or so, and sometimes even then it will change every now and then, nothing to worry about. anything from 5 to 7 days is normal legnth for a period. as long as ur not having unprotected sex, which carries risks of pregnancy and disease and infections, then there is no reason to worry if ur period is a bit funny.

It is normal for many women to have some variance in their period from month to month.
It certainly wouldn't hurt to mention your concern to your doctor though. Perhaps having an exam would put your worries to rest?
Take care and be well ~ : )

It has alot to do with stress level and if you have been exercising more or less and sometimes they just fluctuate from month to month, and believe me I know,i'm 35 and have had them for quite some time,so as long as you are still having them, theres nothing to be scared of.

yes you are fine. It can take up to 3 years after you start your period for it to become regular. also, stress, exercise, a significant amount of weight gain, and many other things can change, or even make you miss a period.

Your period can vary from month to month. Especially if you've just started. It took me about two years before I became really and truly regular.
