No it's not too late, since many colleges/universities have programs that don't really begin your studies in you major until your junior year. I would consult with your degree counselor.

It all depends on how many credits the minor requires and when you're planning to graduate.

It took me 5 1/2 years to get my bachelor's degrees, but I ended up having two majors and three minors. (Each minor had five classes.)

By the way, I didn't settle on my final major until the beginning of my FIFTH year in college. By that point, all my general education requirements were just about fulfilled, and it didn't take me long to get all the classes I needed for my major. Minors can be the same way.

Best of luck to you! :-)

Seek out your Academic Counselor. I think it might be a little late to try this expecially if its way outside your major like u said.. but perhaps not if youve taken a elective that interests you, you may be able to build on that to a minor but it may mean taking a full 18 credit course load your next couple years.

goodluck

first off, Calm down.........you are doing fine! last I've heard nobody really cares how long u stay in college, as long as you have that piece of paper. Also it takes an average of 5 years for the average college student to graduate nowadays. Anywho back to your question, yeah GO FOR IT (as long as you can afford it and you really are interested in that minor). You never want to look back and say "god i wish i minored in _____" If you need more help I suggest you go to your college's academic counselor or something. Well, good luck!

Most people don't start on their minor until their Junior year.

nope its not too late but it might add on a semester if the minor requires more classes that you don't have yet. but it's not to late to add on a minor or even a major
