None.
If somebody says something insulting then it is a person's choice to let that upset them or not.
If somebody has a story they can PROVE then they should have the right to tell it.

Broad question. Censorship is unconstitutional in theory; however, traditional social standards in the United States have upheld its existence for a very long time. The crux of the issue is this: is the government responsible for preventing children from being exposed to material that some citizens find objectionable, or are parents and guardians responsible for teaching their children which material is objectionable as the children encounter it?
A strong case can be made against all censorship of the media. In reality, however, the media will not be totally free for a long time in the United States, if ever.

I am against it. I don't think anybody has the right to tell me what I can or can't look at or watch or do. We are adults and as adults, we should be permitted to make an educated and reliable and responsible decision ourselves. Instead, we have bleeding heart liberals who, in THEIR own opinion, decide what should or shouldn't be seen, heard, or available.
The only exception I would agree with is censorship of things are are aimed at being sold or available to people 18 and under. In many cases, people of that age are not informed enough to be able to make an educated, responsible, and informed decision. However, for adults, we should be able to make our own choices.

I agree with censorship absolutely and 100%. It is very important to censor ourselves from things that are bad. It is also extremely important for our children. I think censorship is great and I am ALL for it.

It has its applications. What is appropriate for me is not appropriate for my 3 yr old son. Since it is my job to raise him I don't need to walk a social mine field on what others believe is alright. When I turn on the TV I like the fact that I don't have to worry about him picking up words that he doesn't need to be repeating yet. Also there are some who think cussing is wrong no matter what. They have the right to enjoy a show with reasonable expectations that they won't see objectionable content.
I think the rating system is a good system. The higher ratings I can go ahead of time and see and see if I think it is appropriate for my young child. There are ways to see uncensored stuff and they don't impose on others. I think it should stay that way.

Censorship is necessary, only if parents do not watch their children. Adults use there judgment to listen or not. All other things are “Bu115h!t”

I would approve of censorship as far as hate/offensive speech. I wouldn't do so as far as sex goes at all, because I find it absurd to protect kids from the realities of life, and sex is a reality of life.
If I was in charge, people like Ann Coulter would be in prison for life.

I should control what I see/hear. I'm an adult. My kids will watch/hear what I control for them. Censorship on a grand scale is just a scapegoat for lazy parenting and cry-babies!

F**K CENSORSHIP! [even though yahoo will automatically censor this post]
Try responsibility instead!
Don't think your kids need to listen to that CD? Don't buy it for them! Take it away if you catch them with it! Punish them if they disobey, it's your responsibility as a parent for gods sake!
Don't want your kid watching a certain show? Block it, your TV can do it, you just have to tell it to. [or just turn the damned thing off, it's not like it's good for anything]
Don't think your kid's t-shirt is appropriate, don't let 'em wear it!
[do you see a pattern forming here?]
All bets are off once you hit 18 of course...adulthood should be free of censorship & only parents have the right to control THEIR OWN child's exposure to the world...no one has the right to tell a parent what their kids can & cant be exposed to, period.
But what about porn, or drugs, or freaky-a**ed cults?
As a parent, it's your job to decide how or if you will expose your child to these things, & if I [or anyone else] choose to disagree with your methods then we can choose not to let our kids hang out with yours BUT THAT'S IT!
It's about responsibility...nobody wants to take it up themselves, they just want someone else to tell them how to be & what to think. The problem is who do you trust to tell you?
I'll make up my own mind, thank you very much!
Stop.
Think.
Resist.

No one should have the right to censor anything unless it involves a crime (like a video of an actual pre-planned murder).
Everyone has the right to their own opinions, that's what makes us unique human beings. When some people try to censor what others like they are being unfair to the others rights.
They make such a big deal out of it. If you don't like something don't watch it, don't read it. don't buy it.
If you don't want your kids "exposed" then make sure they don't watch, buy, read it.
Don't expect the government to ban things because you can't monitor your own children.
Grow up Americans.
