If mentally retarded people can find love then I'm sure mentally ill people can find love. Watch the movie " The Other Sister" it's wonderful.

yes the mentally ill can find love. everybody has somebdoy that was made for them, regardless of what disabilities you may have.there is somebody out there that is perfect for you somewhere. so if you are looking dont give up, keep trying, you are bound to find somebody that will love you for who you are.

It's tough. They usually live solitary withdrawn lives, full of torment and suffering. Then they die alone.
But it depends on if they have some other redeeming quality.
