I heard that Star was leaving anyway, because her contract was not being renewed, but Barbara Walters got mad at her and fired her when she announced her departure earlier than she was supposed to. Barbara felt betrayed or something. The rumor is that audiences didn't like Star nearly as much since she lost all that weight and got married. I don't know how true any of this is.

I personally do not like Joy Behar or Rosie O'Donnell, Rosie is a sexually confused individual playing let's make believe with her partner. She has tried to make everyone accept that her lifetyle is okay and normal, GOD says it isn't, and I am pretty sure that her kids are going to be very confused when they grow up!!! God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve!!! Second she has tried to make everone that doesn't agree with her feel like they are abnormal or just mean, Yet all this toleration she preaches doesn't extend to someone who believes in the right to bear arms to protect themselves and thier country from those who would seek to do harm to them. That right is what kept the Germans from succeeding in overunning our country. My husband defended that right for over 20 years of his life, and I am proud of him for that! Joy Behar makes her living belittling those who have been unfortunate enough to contract a STD, and although it cannot be cured, they are trying to be responsible to any partners, and exposing themselves to abuse from people like Joy. It is okay to be funny and make fun of yourself, but not those who are putting their emotions on the line in true honesty. She is a sad and unkind woman, No one should make themselves feel better by tearing somone else down. As for Star Jones, without her and Merideth there, I will not watch the show anymore. They were the best next to Barbara herself, and frankly I am having my doubts about her now. I have always liked Ms.Walters and respected her work, but all Star did was take the reins out of the shows cowardly hands. She is not a woman to take the victims role gladly. Good for her!!!!!! I liked her and if she ever gets her own show, I will watch it, gladly. Rose

I think the skanks on the view got mad at Star because she lost weight and looks better then them now. When she was the token fat Black chic it was fine but since she slimmed down, they wanted her out. Barbera Walters is a catty crow.

i heard it was becuase she was being to vocal about some of her more conservative social and fashion views - also, the fact that she's being replaced by rosie, who has been incredibly mean to her, doesn't help. probably the biggest reason she's angry is that they essentially fired her without offering her a way out - no show of her own, no upgrade like meredith...stinks to be her right now! also, i heard she was trying to get back at the network with her 'surprise' announcement, and that she and barbra are now at odds. crazy stuff!

i heard it was her ridiculous wedding. My friend met her at the black expo and the scar on her chest is HUGE, her dress was low cut and she looks worse since she lost the weight. I also heard shes annoying.
