I heard somewhere that if a person looks to the left then they are accessing their memories and so they are telling the truth. If they are looking to the right then they are accessing the part of the brain that houses imagination so they are making it up.

Also some people just aren't good liars, you can sometimes tell, they just don't sound convincing and they won't sound confident when they speak. If you know a person well then you can also tell if they're lying sometimes....

It all depends...no, I am not a human lie detector but I use my brain to weigh it...could this have really been like she/he said...sometimes they start laughing...and sometimes you just know...once someone said that they played a sport. "What park?" I asked
well she/he ended up saying that they played the same sport I did for the same park and age group. lie

Try and feel thier pulse. If it's even slightly more rapid than normal, they're probably lying.

if i know that person very well, then i can always tell when something's untrue, jus by their facial expression and how they try to change the subject quick.
