I want to open a small bar or restaraunt without taking a big loan from the bank or there any other options out there?

You can pull it off (maybe), but an enourmous amount of legwork will be required. You should identify a successful, but currently retired, restaurant owner (better yet, an owner of several successful restaurants), and pitch your business plan to him/her. If your pitch is declined, find another one. Repeat until you get funded (or until you are ready to give up).

Even small restaurants require a huge amount of money to begin with. If you do not want a loan, then you should consider investors. You could look for grants as well. The Small Business Administration could give you advice.

perhaps u could propose yr business plan to one or two friends who have the capital, and invite them to join in as shareholders.
