If I was you I wasn't do it
CNA job is very hard work and isn't good for your body you going to do a lot of lifting I know I did it
And I hate it
But it the only job I could do at the time but each his or her own
I'm trying to start my own business do something more educational
Better to work at the local McDonald then be a CNA Under paying job and no one respect you
It better to be a nurse at least you respected
and the work isn't hard anyone could be a pill pusher and get pay more money too
Please rethink this before it too late I wish I could do life over
and become something more then a CNA

Most technical schools offer a CNA program. You can take the course online. Check with your local hospitals and nursing homes and talk with some of the CNA's there. It is usually a 6 week course, not hard, however CNA's are generally lower paid and perform the most patient care (bathing, feeding, changing the bed linen, emptying the bed side commode, urinal).

I hope you make it. I had my CNA but it didn't work out. Whcih looking back on it, was actually a good thing. It was a lot of work. For me anyway. Some people can keep it up, but I wasn't one of them. I worked for a staffing agency. About 3 years ago and I was getting $12- $13 hr then! It depneded on what shpay.ift I worked.
I was always staying late to finish books or wheelchairs or something. I didn't think much of coming home at 3am!

I'ts a lot of work but I will pray for you. Again I am not saying you can't do it, some can. I hope you are one of those.

Try taking an online class... just do a google search for online classes to be a CNA. It may be easier just to go a little longer and get your LVN liscense. You really do not want to be a CNA, all they do is empty bedpans, give old people baths, and clean hospital beds. It is quite disgusting actaully. It would be better to get your LVN liscense.
