Not a good idea with a desktop cpu.
OK with Laptop on batt power or ipod or walkman or anything not pugged in to wall elec outlet

well if there is lightning you dont want the computer on. some girl had her computer on and it got hit and the whole upstairs got burned down cause of it

YOU COULD BUT IT WOULD BE BEST IF YOU DIDN`T BECAUSE THE COMPUTER IS HOOK UP OUT SIDE SO IF IT WOULD BE RAINIG THEN IT COULD MESS THE WIRE UP AND IT WOULD SHOCK YOU AND IF IT IS LIGHTING OUT SIDE THE POWER WOULD PROB . WOULD GO OUT AND IT WOULD MESS YOUR COMPUTER UP SO BUT YOU CAN USE THEM
