which pet is the best pet?

I agree with the hamster answer.. i have had at least 4 and they have had babies that I have given away to friends and thier kids as presents... that was a year ago.. and they are still alive and happy with the people I gave them too..

my friend actually use to breed them.. but he ended up giving them away because of his "status" I guess girls thinks it's gross for guys to have VERMIN as pets.. personally I don't think so.. but then again I am not a normal girl.. I am somewhat of a spaz..

but anyhoo.. hamsters ...I actually have one now.. they stay in a small space..they aren't hard to keep clean and they are just all around simple... and you can put them in a ball (toy) and they keep themselves entertained for hours... and keep you laughing sometimes ..

Dogs by far. But if you want something where you won't have to see it or even really take care of it, a cat. My dog may be wild and anoying but she is the best thing that happened to be. she added so much more life to our family. She just has a great pesonallity. Dog's make you feel so safe. my mom had a dog that could play teatherball and soccer. Of corse not like air bud.

If you like dogs or cats and you don't live in a small place get a dog or cat.If you do live in a small place and are not planning to move the best pet would be hamster,fish,turtle,gerbil,mouse,rat some snakes,lizard,and some frogs.

well, i cant say which is the best...i have many different pets. i like each of them very much, based on their own individual personalities and character....trying to pick a "best pet" is like trying to pick your favorite family member, you may be closer to some but you love them all.

honestly i would say a wolf but that would be lying. They CANNOT be kept as pets. no matter how you try, THEY CANNOT BE TAMED
plus, it's illegal in a lot of places. Some peaople do own wolves but all the educated ones would agree it isn't a pet.

if you are looking for a pet that does not need so much attention and keeps to themselves, try a cat.

To me dogs are the best. I have two of them and love them both very dearly. I love the look on their faces when I come home from work. They are so happy to see me. That is why I just LOVE my two dog's
