Is there such a thing as a four year college for fashion majors?

I need to find one because my mother doesnt think FIT is a real school

I know that The University of North Texas and The University of Texas at Austin both have fashion majors available. My friend is going into that and she has looked at both schools and said that both have great programs.

Kent State University in Kent, OH has a 4 year program for fashion design.
