I do wish to extend my sympathies to you and your fishes family. If you have not made the arrangements yet. I am the owner of "Aqua Memorial Gardens". We can place your loved one in beautiful natural surroundings. We have several plots available and even have some very notable and famous fish interned here. Flipper, Mr. Limpet and even Willie. Keep in mind though there is an extra charge for fish the size of Willie. If finances are an issue we have our super low burial plan called, the porcelain ride to the great beyond. please call us if we can assist at 1-800-DED-FISH -

Just found out you are 13 - and the fish died when you were 8 -
SORRY WE DON"T WANT YOU FISH NOW.

I guess the fish couldn't take being in a tiny, probably polluted, bowl anymore. Before you get another fish learn how to take care of it properly. Also some fish are jumpers and if you would read up about the fish you would of learned that and put something over it so it wouldn't be able to.

I'm very sorry about your fish. A few years ago, my friend's fish did the same thing, but I think it was something about her fish and her mom's fish no getting along (though they were in two different bowls on two different sides of the wall). Anyway, I hope you are not so traumitized that you don't want to get another fish.
I'm sure you miss your old one.

Some types of fish like to go for a walk. Next time put on a cover with air holes.

Poor thing, what did you do to it?Did you try and drown it? Fish do that sometimes. They jump way to high.i think they be smoking that algae.I think they might see a reflection of themselves sometimes.Eyes all bulged out.I would jump to my death to.But anyway, get another one and place a bet on how long it will take before that one kicks the bucket.Should be fun.I put 5 on it not lasting 2 months.Let me know,I have a cat that will eat it and save you the burial expenses or the water bill from flushing.

oh that sucks..lol but really get a tank w/ a lid and try an african dwarf frog they r so much fun and yes they do go to the top of the tank but only to get air but remember to give them a little space inbetween lid and water level they eat brine shrimp or bloodworms and they r so cute 2 watch but they could jump out so u have to have a lid or cover and i hope u have better luck! also i have neon tetras and they r pretty good fish.

I had a fish that did that, jumped right out of the tank, through the hole in the cover.

Maybe we can start a support group.

some of fish like to jump, unfortunately it didn't know outside the bowl there isn't its world. What is your fish? some fish like to jump, like arowana, betta, discuss. It doesn't mean that they don't like the water or hungry. Simply they just love to jump.
