An entire week of my life I lived a lie. I told some kid I was 16, and the entire week I had to keep telling lies like
"I can't drive cause I left my license at home,"
"I have a Mustang convertible,"
At the end of the week I told him the truth.

It's like this........When you lie, you develope a sense of security. If you got away with the first one, will try it again........after that it goes deeper and become more exciting.........you begin to develop other excuses and learn to cover your tracks. The excitement only begins at this point.....you get better at it and start to find a thrill in it, why you lie isn't as exciting as what your hiding..........just the thought of doing it and getting away begins to feel good.
Most people are good by nature....it is only in the act of doing that makes them seem bad.....people are willing to lose so much just to get away with this secret or other side of life. something to think about........

No, but we have a family member that does that and we
can't figure out why he does it. There is no reason to do
that.
