the best I got was a, "I think i've fallen for you, that's my problem" handed to me on a gym card when I was asking my friend what his problem was.

You can tell a girl you like her anytime. First time you meet her, in a hallway, on a bus, doesn't matter. As long as you are sincere. When you say "make a move" I take that to mean "ask her out"...again, anytime. Today's world is simpler: "meet me at Starbucks for a cup of coffee?" Not a big commitment on either side, but if you talk and dig each other, you have the world in front of you.

If I were you, I will get to know her better and build a good friendship with her first. When she is comfortable with me already, in a way that she can talk about her personal things to me, then I will tell her that I have feelings for her. Back away if she does not feel the same way for you and don't pesture her on how you feel and accept the fact that you can only be friends and apprrciate it.... If she likes you in return... CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Just be yourself, appreciate her for who she is and for God's sake no lame pickup lines LOL As long as she's expressing an interest in you through eye contact, smiling, maybe touching your arm when she talks to you then ask her for coffee or drinks. If that goes well ask her to dinner. When depends on how long you've known her and more importantly how comfortable you are with each other.

number one rule. NEVER make a move on a first date, unless u know for SURE she wants it. You shouldn't press things, honestly. People always worry about .."oh who's going to do it first?" "what if she thinks i'm a chicken for giving her time?" . No actually, you will know when she wants it, she will let you know some how...like looking into your eyes for a moment to long, touching ur leg while laughing at a joke.

You just have to let her know how you feel. The worst that could happen is she'll turn you down. But that only means that shes not "The One", than all you have to do is keep looking. And if you two are meant to be than she'll come around sooner or later...
