Cintra, a Spanish company, will be building toll roads using few or no US citizens for the labor, collecting the money from the tolls, and maintaining the roads. This will be at the cost of thousands of acres of farm land, the moving of numerous cemetaries, the destruction of many neighborhoods and will completely destroy many small towns and communities in the state of Texas.

Like my dad said when they built I-45 no one wanted it either. We have too many people and vehicles. Everyone wants more, more, more, but they don't want to pay for the mores. Small communities want more jobs. TXU just announced they are spending 11 billion dollars for more power plants. People don't want that. Do they want to be like California a couple of years ago when they didn't have power? If we don't build these plants we will not have enough power. If we don't build these highways we will be in a bind! Did you see the traffic last year when they thought the hurricane was going to hit Galveston. That was a sight! I'm not saying I like this, but it's gonna happen. By the way my family owns around 1000 acres in Central Texas.

you should attain that the surroundings is interdependent. Human agriculture is the beginner on the block. The Soviet Union brought about an environmental disaster interior the Aral Sea because of the fact of unrestrained damming for the needs of agriculture. once you start up messing around with the water grant by way of sucking water out of the rivers and lakes swifter than that's replaced, there are outcomes each and all of the way downstream. The agriculture industry needs to come across greater powerful procedures of irrigating land, the present procedures are wasteful, they use them because of the fact they are inexpensive. it is likewise the human beings interior the cities who use all that water for their lawns and different ineffective crap. And no, human beings are not greater significant than a small fish. that form of concepts-set has placed this planet on the verge of environmental disaster, and it must be stopped. Giving industry a unfastened hand to apply components as they see in good shape has grew to become the land right into a sewer, as properly as made us poorer. to boot, take a stroll down the line, and count type the variety of badly obese human beings. that's a countrywide disaster in how all of us is overeating because of the fact production facility farms have saved nutrients expenditures artificially low. those comparable farms are the main significant reason there are new ailments like chook flu and swine flu. super scale agriculture could desire to be the dying human beings.

Some people might think that since Texas has so much empty land, it won't be much of a loss.

When the Interstate System was first build throughout the U S, it was much worse, in every state. In those days, hardly anyone thought it was a bad thing, and the few that spoke up went unheard, just as you and others on your side. Your words will fall on deaf ears. Your best bet is to prepare yourself to deal with the unpleasant news that so few people care.
