Though Ryan Reynolds (Monty) was one of the main characters, the central character in this movie was Justin Long (Dean). The movie really revolved around his decision to leave the restaurant so he wouldn't be stuck in a job that was going nowhere. Ryan Reynolds was in most of the movie and probably had the most screen time, but he wasn't the central character.
