No because we would still not be all on the same level. There would be just a poor rich class compared to the absolute filty rich.

No because they would have to change the legal system. Let's just say you and another person we will call "John" are both arrested for a serious crime like murder. John is rich and guilty as charged so he gets bailed out, hires an attorney and may delay the trial for a lengthy time with expensive litigation or he might just hire a "dream team" of lawyers and get off completely. Now you're innocent but poor or just a working stiff that hasn't much money accessible to you, so what happens. You can't post bail even though you're innocent so you maybe stay in jail for a month or maybe a year waiting for a trial. In the mean time you loose everything. You're job, house, car, even family like you're spouse and kids. And you have no way of ever getting compensated for you're loss. Is that justice?

Things may seem that way with OJ and Robert Blake getting off. However, money may buy some reasonable doubt but not everyone with money and fame will be free of charges. Phil Spector doesn't seem to have a prayer - we'll see.

Sure, heard of OJ Simpson and Robert Blake? What money buys you is an excellent defense attorney and the related defense team, which buys you an excellent jury consultant. That gets you reasonable doubt. And that, ladies and gentlemen, gets you a "not guilty" verdict.

Yes, and no, because that if we were all the same, then we would all stay in jail but if we had enought money and the year was 2006 then yes we would. Good Question dude. =)

No, you couldn't. It really comes down to the skill of your lawyer and your own circumstances.
