Everyone talks about ~us~ losing or ~us~ getting tired. What about the bad guys? Ever think ~they~ are losing, or ~they~ are getting tired? We killed their leaders and reduced their ability to organize. Once we can limit their presence to that of an American street gang (Bloods, Cryps, etc), which is happening as their reach gets more and more limited, the local police can deal with them and we'll be able to withdraw victorious. Key word - victorious!!
Withdrawing earlier, under worse conditions (i.e. we lose and they win) is an option, but it will still take over a year to fully withdraw. It's not like we can snap our fingers and pull everyone home overnight.

Till everyone decides Bush is an idiot and actually do something about it preferably assassination so that there are no more Bushlets to take on any place in the government.
Till the government puts aside it pride to leave.
Till the military all dies and people revolt against the government because they're moving on to little kid soldiers.
Till the government realizes Democratic isn't for every country and stop trying to make every country so.
Till the people check and read over all the laws Bush (and any other government leader) has put and realize some of them invade the Bill of Rights and is slowly but surly changing into dictatorship like rule.
Till all the people in the military quit and no more people join regardles of that draft law thingy.
Till the whole country in full of McDonalds resturants like Carlos Mencia said.

Well, Do you remember back in the 1980's when all you heard about was Lebanon and Beirut. Do you remember how long that lasted right? Well...America and Iraq! My 3 year daughter will be a grandmother by the time this war is over with and I'll be in the heavens looking down on it.

We will be involved in Bush's war until he is out of office. Hopefully the next person we elect will be more interested in spending the money in our country rather than on a country where the majority doesn't even want us there. The least we should do is keep the terrorists out of our country and not worry about what is going on in there country. I say keep America safe for all Americans and forget about Bush's pride!

Until the war in Iran starts... just kidding.
Signs are pointing to two more years. That is unless something tragic were to happen between now and then. Iraq is almost ready to take care of itself. Every time we train another group of solders and police we are closer to getting the heck out of their.
Their people are way more effective then we are as they speak the language.

America and britain started it so they will be involved in the war until the war is over, and it is over when the country is more stable and people stop trying to kill each other over there and they get a more stable government... dont expect troops to be leaving iraq anytime soon to be honest.

well, no one is really sure, right how, the U.S. is stuff ina very awkward position, leaving Iraq would show the world that the war was purposeless and shows the U.S. defeated, which Bush dont want to do. If U.S. stays, then the huge expense is going to take toll on the economy here at home.

Hopefully until a stable government is in place there. We know the dummycrats want to cut and run again like in Nam and Korea but if we are lucky they will not get their way. What the dummycrats fear most is victory because then all the junk they have been saying wil be proved wrong.
