I think it's people with low self esteem that seem to be pleasers, yes, I am a pleaser.

Whether that's good or bad seems to depend on the reason for the please'n.
If it's out of caring, then you would hope the recipient reacts likewise.
If something is expected in return, then it can be a form of using, or manipulation.
If it's desperation to keep the person around, then rethink the relationship.

sometimes, mostly if I want something, but I try to be nice to people so I get respect back. Other time not so much. lol
