my skin tone: about the same as jessica simpson's
hair color: dark brown
any new suggestions?

I hear purples bring out the brown best... almay make s a line just for brown eyed women.

Depends on the rest of your coloring (hair & skin tone). I have dark brown eyes and I like to use gold & bronze, lilac & plum, teal, greens like pistachio, forest & olive, and off-white metallic. Obviously not all together! Dark brown looks good with most colors. Just make sure the rest of your make-up goes with the colors and your skin so you don't look like a clown (no purple eyes and orangey cheeks!)

I think makeup colors are based on your skin tone as well, not just your eye color. To find the best colors for you, I would suggest going to a department store and asking someone there for advice...you can get a free makeover and free samples to boot!!

blacks and browns intensify the color of your eyes, and pinks, lavender will make them POP!!! If its dark.. check out beyonce.
if it's real light....check out Jessica Simpsons choices.
Famous people have make-up artist. So the artist KNOW what looks good and matches make up to the individules skin tone and eye color!

Golds and greens. I have brown eyes, and these colors always bring them out really nicely. If you want to go for more of a fun color, purple really works too. Curl your lashes and add a touch of brown/black mascara! Also... a deep, deep plum or a brown eyeliner looks fantastic! =)

I believe purple is the best choice for brown-eyed girls. Almay does have various eye shadow packages for women depending on their eye color, as does Avon.

Smoky blue or grey. Try it. You'll be surprised. I have dark brown eyes and always went for taupe and brown. The blue/grey really makes a difference.
