I haven't used that method since the third grade...I just read. But if it's something like a medical term that I am not familiar with, I would have to say that yes I suppose I do. How else would I know how to say it?

Yes, absolutely. I think everyone that is literate does. Try to think (actually think, not just picture things in your mind) or read without pronouncing the words in your head. It's impossible. I think you do, too. Although you may not realize it.

It depends really. I´ve come to realize that sometimes, when I´m totally focused, when I´m trying to find an answer, I can hear my thoughts, and when reading it´s the same.
But, when I just relax, let my mind wander, just let things come to me instead of desperately trying to grasp them, I don´t hear anything at all.
