If you're into morbid things, you can visit the catacombs of Paris. That was really cool!!!! Fountain Bleu is also a beautiful place to visit. not too far from Paris. Versaille is gorgous!! See the Hall of Mirrors and the gardens.
I would suggest you see The D'Orsay museum. This is where you'll find your Degas, Monets, Manets, Renoirs, Van Gogh, Whistlers Mother and also some interesting furniture and a bunch of statues by Rodin. The museum use to be a train station built during the revolutionary era, and almost got tore down, but was saved! Its really cool going up the stairs too. There is a beautiful view from the top side window near the food area, you can get some great photo ops of Le Sacred Coeur from a distance.
Monmarte is very nice, artsy place. You can get a self portrait there too. And also see Picassos work shop and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec as well, as he is famous for portraying Moulin Rouge.

London, you can do a day trip to Stone Henge and visit Salisbury Cathedral with the best preserved piece of the Magna carta. I believe i left out of Victoria station, just ask them which station is closest to Stonehenge and take the train there. theres a city bus out front and it will take you to stone henge. The tours are UBER expensive. I saved about 50 bucks doing it this way. And at the sametime, you can head to Bath as well.

Another day trip is strapford apon Avon. Nothing much really there, except the whole shakespear theme if you're into that, then its a nice day trip or even half a day trip.
WARNING: London Dungeon is a tourist trap!!!! Its like going to a halloween haunted house. Takes forever to get thru, and its not even that scary! Just a bunch of actors and storytellers. VERY lame. Took me almost all day and missed my chance at visiting Tower of London my first visit out there.
If you're into arts visit the Tate Museum and the national gallery.

happy travels!

In London you have to venture out to Campden Locks. There are a bunch of cool shops all situated on the locks. Also not to miss is Covent Garden. A stroll through Hyde Park is a MUST. Go for English tea and visit an authentic pub for a pint and bangers and mash.

Paris - visit the Latin Quarter and climb the stairs of the Eiffel Tower. Take a walk along the River Seine and go on a Bateaux Mouches Boat cruise at night. Sit at a street side cafe and sip a beverage of your choice while and people watch and just soak in the atmosphere.

A good day trip out of London is Windsor. See the Castle and the school that Prince William and Harry attended.

A good day trip out of Paris is Ambois to see a real chateax and a smaller town.

I can tell you about Paris. The Eiffel tower is a must. You can go right up to the top and the view is amazing. Then you should go to
the Arc De Triomphe and Champs-Elysees. Also visit the Sacre-Coeur at Montmarte (the Church of Sacred heart). Many tourists rate that higher than the Eiffel tower and it is beautiful.
You can visit the Louvre and the Notre-Dame cathedral.
Hope you have a good time!

well..I've only been to Paris, so I'll tell you about that city. :) Erm... the eiffel tower, obviously, but I would reccomend you to visit it at night, since during the day there are a lot of tourists... Champs elysees... great shopping! The Opera Garnier... beautiful. :) The Louvre! A visit to paris isn't complete if you don't visit the museum...lol. Eurodisney is pretty nice if you go on a day where there aren't many visitors.. went on january 1, and found it quite enjoyable... Hope you have a great time!

Do a Yahoo search on each city. Go to the travel section that shows up at the top of the list. There will be countless "must see" attractions listed by people who have visited each city (or country). I did it before going to Switzerland last summer and the results were fantastic.

Go do the tourist thing, and when your feet are tired and you want to relax, London is full of special little nooks & crannies....get yourself to "Gordons Wine Bar"..anyone know it! On that little street between Charing Cross Station & Embankment...you can hardly see the sign it is so old...and wander down the little wooden steps to a magical place beneath....in the candlelit ambience...drink a bottle of wine and let time stop for a moment...a little underground cellar underneath a very busy city..i hope you enjoy...i have very special memories of this place.....

The museums, where they keep the artifacts they stole from Greece, Egypt, Iraq, etc.
Also, have some rides around the cities, you will see many nice and different things!
In addition, depending on how long you are staying, it would be nice to visit the surroundings of these great cities!

Go to Versailles when you are in Paris. It is a little outside the city, you can take a train to get there, it's not that far. You must must must see it. If you are going to see any palaces when you are in Europe, this is the one you want to see.

(there is a "mike's fat bike tour" that will take you there and other nearby places if you don't wanna go by yourself.)
