Well, I listen to rap, r&b, some country and girly stuff. Of course I don't like all rap, cause some is just hard to understand and makes no sense at all. I don't like heavy metal for that same reason. I do listen to some rock though, just not all. I was a cheerleader in high school, but def. was not a prep! Actually my husband listens to rock and heavy metal, he's a skateborder and everything! I don't mind any of the stuff he does or anything like that. And I never looked at anyone because they wore black or anything. I was really close in high school to someone who wore black and stuff like that. It is stupid that people act that way though... everyone is the same equals in my eyes! It don't matter how they look, dress, or what they listen to!!!!! Sorry if people act that way towards you, it's so wrong!

Why do people always generalize and condemn entire groups of people? If preps hate goths and rockers, maybe it's because goths and rockers hate preps. You accuse them of being so judgemental, but look at your question.
Besides, high school has always been like this, and it always will be. It's all about young people testing their first taste of freedom, about carving out their own territory, and trying to better than everyone else. It's a good learning ground because the real world can be an even crueler place.

You do realize that you're the judgemental one... right?
Labels are bad. If you're going to label me a prep just because I listen to Tim McGraw and wear a bright skirt every once and a while, oh well. But I also listen to Metallica, so it's not as one sided as you think.
I also have friends who dress in all black AND I have gay friends. Start practicing what you preach and stop labeling.

Well I think your affliction. I am continuously known as preppy and no longer in a well means. I am an AP scholar, however I am discipline to blond moments and I am very pleasant and bubbly and only a completely satisfied individual frequently. I realize what you imply. I am no longer taking facets, don't get dissatisfied, however actually ask your self this:Are your constructive or are you particularly hanging on airs of superiority? Could your trust be misconstrued as conceitedness? Are your displaying somewhat an excessive amount of epidermis (with no need noticeable you I can not inform in case your are dressing "skanky" or no longer) If you actually don't consider you're greater than those ladies than don't slump to their stage. Completely forget about them. They could also be jealous or think the have to belittle you for his or her possess entertainment. No one likes a tattle-story however, you probably did the correct factor in telling your trainer approximately the t-blouse incident that was once simply infantile. Anyway, those ladies are certainly immature, I realize that is cliched, so simply do not provide them the time of day. If they realize you do not care what they do or say and that it does not hassle then you definitely they must quit. Also might be simply you have to be courteous to them: say hey, ask how their day was once. May be in an effort to support. As to your trainer he seems like a douche, do not be disrespectful to him, however might be inform him that what he mentioned harm your emotions or was once unfair (in a well mannered, non-antagonistic means, of path) I desire this is helping!

I really can't believe you just called somebody stupid, and asked one of the dumbest questions I have read on this site. You should learn not to generalize people into categories first, because when you affiliate yourself into a group you take on that stereotype also. You will grow out of this anyway so just have fun and see people for who they are. We all are stupid, just some more than others.

I always thought that rednecks were the ones who listen to country... Anyways, don't you think you're being a bit judgmental? What's the point of labeling people anyways? It's pointless.

There's strength in numbers, and since most girls in school fall into that disgusting category of bring a prep, they are therefore the most outspoken. Cowards, every single one of 'em!
My friends and I were in the so-called "choir geek/ band dork" group. But we had a hell of a lot more fun at BAND CAMP than those losers ever had at the mall!
