Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas.
Sure, we knew him and knew he was an amazing actor before, but F&LILV is the film that allowed Depp the freedom to do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. Anyone who answers Pirates Of The Carribbean needs to see this and they'll see where the Jack Sparrow character originated from.
Also, Cry Baby - I hated him until I saw this when it was first released. I was stunned at just how funny he was.

Pirates of the Carribean, he is so hot as a pirate. I also liked edward scissor hands, and the secret window. He plays such weird parts, he reminds me of a crazy person (a very hot crazy person).lol
