I did all that and it keeps saying it can't cuz the name is incorrect or the printer has lost its connectivity to the server.

First verify that the PC and laptop can see each other. Doing a "ping" can verify that they can see each other. Go to the control panel and under "printers and faxes" (assuming you have Windows XP) right-click the printer on the PC and choose "sharing", turn sharing on, name the shared printer. Go to the laptop, tell it to add a printer, choose to add a network printer and let it browse the network. If all is well it should find your shared printer pretty fast and install the print driver if they have the same operating system.

Get a Dell Wireless Printer Router. They only cost $50.

Note: Your printer will need a LAN cord to plug in to.

Go to control printers & faxes, right clic on the printer you want to share, go to the share tab, and configure.
Then in the other computer go to the network, and find the computer wich is connected to the printer, then it'll appear the printer, right clic on it and then select connect.
It shoul do the thing.

Just go to the control panel under printers and click allow share on the options...then you should be able to see it from your laptop.

Good Luck

You need a wireless print server to be able to share a printer on a wireless network.
