Frodo Baggins:

Because my journey of life has been lined with paths that are peaceful, trying - even impossible at times, lonely, confusing, amazingly pure and innocent - even spiritual.

Through all of these paths I find that it's so hard to keep my way... without the few (but very good) friends that I have to support me. Often, undeserved friends because I sadly am not always equally a friend to them in return, but they stand by me nevertheless... because they I understand the person I am [trying to be].

Only Frodo could truly understand the battles/truimph he had gone through and it set him apart mentally. He thought, "there is no going back". That is exactly where I feel in my life a lot of the time. That I've just gone through whatever experience(s) and now I can never be the person I was before I experienced it. Those lines in the movie make me cry nearly everytime I hear them.

That is why I would be Frodo Baggins, Mr. Sky/Mr. Box. Thanks.

You're asking for a major confession, aren't you?

Miles (Paul Giamatti) from Sideways. Guy who was in a long-term relationship. Has made mistakes that cost him the relationship that he now regrets making. Has trouble getting women that he does want to take him seriously. Surrounded by actor friends who get women all the time and treats them like dirt. Works another job to pay the bills while struggling to succeed at the career he wants.

Except I don't like wine. BIG difference.
