Sex is not just for procreation...many couples cannot have children, should they never have sex? Sex is an intimate sharing of feelings and emotions....not just a way to make babies!! Orgasm is actually a natural process, where the muscles of the vagina contract and pulsate to guide the sperms towards the ovary. without this too the sperms can swim towards their destination...the orgasm just adds to it.

For the purpose of making them want to do it. Humans and dolphins are the onlly two species that do not mate during set intervals(a mating season) therefore they need to derive pleasure from sex in order to want to do it.

I would assume, not really being in either camp of this argument, that it was to assure the survivial of the species. Humans are amazingly lazy and self-absorbed. So if sex wasn't fun, even if "wrong", most people wouldn't do it.
