All men need to be looked after.
When they get married their wives take over from their mothers.

I am a heterosexual man and I have been celibate for over 14 years now. No we don't really need women but being alone is a very difficult and long suffering experience. I'm happier than most married people I meet though because I never have to make any real compromise.

Every day I struggle with the idea of giving up celibacy but from a spiritual perspective I feel it's the right thing to do. I think as human beings we all need some kind of company.

Funnily enough all the human beings I meet "really need help" so I think it's a human thing rather than a male thing.

Men just need women for sex, having babies, cleaning, vacing, doing the everyday mundane chores, no, only joking, women are great, I'm single and live on my own and am fighting lonliness, a woman is like a best friend, but alot different to having a male best friend, unless you're gay, then that blows that outta the water, my friend, yeah women are lovely, especially when you meet the right one :-)

Well as a single, heterosexual, full blooded male...

I can honestly say I would 'Like' to have a woman in my life to share the good & bad times with, snuggle up to etc: even though I can't afford one right now, (cough) lol!!

But do I 'Need a woman in my life? Can I really make it on my own?

I can't say I 'Need' one. I seam to have managed quite well the last 2 years on my own without one: and several periods of my life before this one!!

I can cook, clean, iron, sew, look after myself, my kids & grandkids... etc, etc, etc for myself: SO why do I 'NEED' a woman?

Other than for the obvious that is: which I can also go without!! (I know ladies: you dont beleive me.. but it is not the be all and end all of life)!!

So yes I would 'LIKE' a woman in my life: (any offers... I'm 42, slim, dark haired, blue eyed, in debt and peniless..? pmsl)...

But 'NO' I don't 'NEED' one!! But then: Does a woman really need a man?

God bless xoxo

i think that both sides need the other one evenn if they wont qadmit it..there are certain things men cant do alone..mainly having kids! so if thats theire goal then they need a woman obviously and vice versa..most men i know can do alot of things by themselves but also really wanna have a woman around cuz lets face it when u have the option of having someone else do laundry and cleaning u shud take it lol...im sure there are menwho have been alone and died that way and they were just fine but in my opinion we need each other1
