geez... you've spent the time eliminating the belt, flushing the potential guidance fluid... and also you're keen to pass and replace the pump, which i'm certain isn't low-priced... why no longer purely take it right into a mechanic and performance them allow you to comprehend the clarification behind the noise? I guess a great number of them would spot the problem in some seconds and not in any respect even fee you the finished inspection cost... yet both way, you'll comprehend for certain. Take it to an self sufficient keep or the broking service, no longer a series then and clarify what has been finished already, you could also teach them any workplace paintings from the different places. At many self sufficient shops you per chance waiting to get a mechanic to go back out to the vehicle, or maybe try pressure with you to be sure he knows precisely what noise you're complaining about. it is also efficient in understanding that your mechanic isn't a 19 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old oil changer. call round and ask if all people can carry out this service for you because you've already taken in it diverse cases and no individual has pronounced the noise yet.

A couple of these folks are on the right track. If it only makes the noise while the clutch pedal is pressed to the floor, and it is a manual transmission, then the most likely cause is the release bearing which is the same as the throw-out bearing.

To add to Clint's diagnosis, which is probably correct...The release bearing is on a shaft that comes out of the rear of the engine. To replace it requires that the transmission be disconnected from the engine. That is somewhat labor intensive so it might be kind of expensive, but the bearing itself is probably under $20.00
