Any make-up can cause you to get more acne. It's just the fact that something is being put on your face and is clogging your pores. Try using a pore scrub, or use a cleansing pore mask weekly. I use Neutrogena's Clear Pore gel for overnight... works really good.

There are a few reasons it could possible cause that. One certain ingredients in products especially make-up can cause skin and oil to build up in follicles on the face which causes blackheads and worse. Two if you don't replace your makeup every 6 months the bacteria growth on the makeup especially the makeup pad can cause break outs. Third if you are allergic to an ingredient you can have a breakout in response to that allergy. Last but not least make sure you are washing the makeup off your face with a makeup remover. Water doesn't cut it. Any film left on the face even if you can't see it can actually cause breakouts.
Look for products that say they are non-comedonegenic. These were tested to not promote black heads or break out and replace your makeup regularly. Still have a problem then it is an allergic reaction.

I have pimples. they were really mild. I wore compact for three years straight and regret it!!!!!! my skin is absolutely horrible!!! my pimples is now acne! i am trying to control it! it makes me sooo mad! if you use compact make sure it oil free and will not clog pores!!!! do not wear MAC.

it can. make sure that the kind you buy is oil free. they also make some that has acne medication put into it. make sure you wash your face every night. sleeping with it on is bad for your skin.

Well i guess it depends on ur skin more that it dose the product if u have naturaly greesy skin then yah it will!!

It can, I break out everytime I wear concealer. It helps if you wash your face after you go out.

sometimes unless its the kind of compact that they make now that doesn't clog pores...its around the same prics as any others...clean and clear sells them...
