I'm talking about the double murder in Lititz, Pa. It took place in Nov. 2005. She was 14. Her boyfriend was 18. They dated secretly, admitting to being sexually active. Her boyfriend, David Ludwig shot both her parents one sunday morning when they said the two teens couldn't date anymore. Karen, 14, left with the guy who shot her parents(boyfriend) n ran off to Indiana where police caught them. David is now serving life without parole. Karen is "just a child" and a "victim" in the matter. She is getting no punishment. This was a national story. Someone must have heard about it, n have an opinion.

I think her name is Kara. I remember being surprised that she wasn't even being considered complicit. I can understand the argument for her being so much younger and being afraid for her life and in shock after she sees her parents killed, but I'm surprised that the law hasn't required her to prove anything. Just because she's 14 doesn't seem enough reason to automatically consider her innocent. That's not to say that she isn't; I just don't see why it's automatic. I do think girls can maybe get away with more because people don't like to think that a girl could do some of the things that they could believe a guy to do.

Leaving with him after he killed her parents does not necessarily make her complicit in the crime, she may have feared for her own life. However, that should be the job of a jury to decide. No one can know what she knew before he killed her parents without a fierce investigation and review of the evidence and a verdict if enough evidence is found to indite.

Karen probably was scared to death by what her boyfriend did and was scared for her life if she didn't go along with him and at 14 she really dosen't have the perseption of what she has really gotten herself into, however I think she should take some responsibility of what happened. She will need counseling for a long time to get over what has happened to her,she was taken adavantage of like being raped .

She had told me she was doing a collaboration with Eminem...who knew they were going to use the Barney song as the beat.
