Looking for the new car that is comming into theUSA called SmartCar have you see it yet, they sell it in Canada but you cant cross the border to get one! Has anyone seen one here yet in the USA? It was at AUTOSHOW this year . please send me input if you have anything on the new SmartCar . CHRYSLER PRODUCTION...

No it is not Chrysler production, it is a join venture between Mercedes Benz (Dimler Chrysler) and Swatch designers (the old watch producer company)...

It was on the local news this morning that Chrysler was going to start selling them here. Sounded like that hadn't happened yet, though.

I've seen them in California and Florida. You can import them, but you need to modify the exhaust, it doesn't comply with EPA regs for some odd reason. I wish I knew more.

Check Smart Car in the Net. I loved since i saw it in Spain. It's so small, they had it parked lengthwise on the curb!!

I've seen a couple here in Reno, sold or leased not sure which, at of all things an RV dealer. go figure.

well it has been out up here in canada for about a yr and its awsome had to drive one it was geat i would defenetly go out and get one i tell ya .

I got one, but it is not a great deal. Too cramped, it does not have any power at all (too slow), and it is pricey.
