depending on your browser.
I use microsoft internet explorer. when i see i picture i like, i put the cursor over the picture and right click. this brings up a "context" menu. on the menu is an option:
save picture as...
when i choose this option, it allows me to save the picture into my computer, exactly like saving a picture i made myself.
Sometimes the save as... feature is disabled. In this case i use the menu and look for "properties" this will bring up an O/S dependant description of the picture, including its address. At this time, i will copy the address ( as in http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/us/sch/gr/ga_ans_uh_logo.gif )
i will then paste it in to a new browser window and try the save as... again. if that fails, i view the image on screen and use the
"prt scr"
button. immediately open paint, then use paste. this puts the screen image into a new graphic file. i then save file as... now i have the image on my computer.
to re-post the image, first you need to make sure you have permission or allowance from the website or image owner to repost it.
If your target page allows linking of URL or embedded objects, you can use the address (http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/us/sch/gr/ga_ans_uh_logo.gif)
of the original image.
otherwise you will have to store the image on an online server, such as your homepage server, and then link to it from there
