Spack·le (spkl) KEY

A trademark used for a powder to be mixed with water or a ready-to-use plastic paste designed to fill cracks and holes in plaster before painting or papering. This trademark often occurs in lowercase and as a verb in print: "Two young men quietly spackled and whitewashed the walls . . . for an exhibition" (New York Times).

Spackle is the stuff you use, when mixed with water, to fill cracks & holes in your walls.

spackle is stuff that is kind of like putty that you use to fix minor holes in walls, or to smooth over the tape that you use when using sheetrock to make walls so when you paint it, it looks like a smooth surface.

It's what they said previously but it's totally in the wrong category! It's nothing near health and beauty!
