Children need protection from abuse, but Child Protective Services is NOT what they need.
Child Protective Services destroys families and kidnaps children under pretense and color of law because it's a $20 billion per year (and growing) profitable industry for them and their colluders. Despite the name, they do not protect children nor provide services to families in need of services. Instead of protecting children, they place them in a dangerous and severely broken foster care system that even the PEW Commission has described as hopelessly broken. But please don't take my word for it, the LIFE (Liberty Independence & Family Equality) site (link in source below) has all the information you need to support this contention, including Congressional testimony and many links to sites and reference papers by experts. Please review the information on the LIFE site before you make ASSumptions by judging this sinister agency by its cover (name).

I came from a family of six children. A few years ago my mother had another child. We already had enough problems financially. The social services ended up taking my sister and now she is adopted. Even though we wont ever get to see her, it is better for her because she will not have to worry about money and have a family that can actually take care of her unlike us. My mom is also in trouble with the police all the time. Who would want their baby growing up in that environment? I dont like that she was taken but its better for her.

Very simple! Because parents continue to screw up. During my foster parent training, it got so old hearing story after story of neglect and abuse. Babies born drug addicted. Parents who look the other way when a significant other pounds their kids (failure to protect). Kids living in total filth...animal feces on the floor where the kids played. CPS won't stop removing children until parents learn how to parent!!! And since I personally see no end in sight to abusers and drug addicts...I'm more than happy to help these kiddos learn there's more to life than someones boot kicking the life out of them. Lets not go there about the money...because it is a JOKE. If someone is in it for the money they should just do home day care.

I think the more appropriate question has to be "How can parents abuse their own children?" Or maybe.. "How can parents choose drugs over their children?" Or maybe.. "How can a woman stand by and do nothing while her husband rapes her daughter?" Or maybe.. "How can a grown man beat an defenseless infant?"
