Hang upside down --- stand on your head --- Get in the yoga, "Down-ward-dog position" --- or simply find a way to look up at the sky upside down.

Ever spend the day with a child about 4-6 and really listen? All the things you hadn't really thought about in years all come back to you. The age I call the "WHY" Stage. Why is the sky blue. Why does the rainbow have 8 colors and why those 8. Why why why. I use to give my son 10 whys a day and they had to count. But I miss those days. Because He really made me appreciate a sunrise, or a sunset, the clouds in the sky and the shape that they made. The water in the river, the squirrels in the tree it's endless the things we take for granite that a child seeing for the first time can take a back to. ( All though ten a day is my limit on a daily basis) The world around you is special ever day we just become blind to it. Open your eyes and live it through a child's eyes, and live again. Have a good day.

I know how you feel, I felt the same way, here's what I have found that changed my life. I started searching for God. I found Jesus Christ (He found me). I found out that God loves me and has created me for a purpose. I found that if I seek His will for my life, that He uses me and takes me places that I never could imagine being. He has showed me how to love and help people. This has taken the focus off me and has brought excitement and fullfillment into my life. I used to chase every enticing thing in this world, but all these things left me empty and still wondering about my reason for existence. My life has now has purpose, direction, and the promise for eternity. Matthew 6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added unto you. God loves you and wants you to seek Him. I hope I'm not sounding to religious, I just want to share what has completely changed my life and millions of others that have put their life in the hands of Jesus. God bless you.

For immediate inspiration go to http://www.theinterviewwithgod.com and click on "View Presentation".
For longer term relief of boredom, pick up something you've always wanted to do, such as learn a language, take an acting or dancing class. Or read up on some part of history you've always wondered about.

My dad always says that if you eat a frog for breakfast, the rest of the day is great. You could try that, or you could just treat yourself to something that you love (a brownie, a hot bath, good movie, etc).
