Yes, you can use peroxide.
Once every 3 months, if you need it more often than that, you should consult your physician about ear way build up.
I use q-tips to clean the pinna and outer ear canal.

My husband went to an ENT specialist. The treatment for his built up wax was 10 drops of hydrogen peroxide, let it fizz and when it is done let it drain. Then 1/2 cup warm water and 1/2 cup white vinegar, with a bulb syringe rinse out the ear. Never put a q-tip in your ear canal it will only push the wax further down in the ear canal.

My doctor always told me, for the inside of your ears, use the elbows, which means NOTHING should be put inside the ear canal. The body has a very efficient cleaning system, so leave them alone. Clean the outside with a swab.
Peroxide is sometimes used to absorb water inside the ear (swimmers ear) but it can burn, too.

yes, take an eye dropper and put a drop or 2 in your ear, then when you hear the bubbling stop, take a q-tip and clean it out

Does not work. Have tried it.
Use bleach or CLR instead.
