I want to buy a 2002 or 2003 BMW 325i or xi car. wondering about xi vs the i.

Only about 1 second or less in 1/4 mile not enough you would notice. The car does way more so you use more fuel and tires wear faster.
Xenon is an upgrade.

I have an '02 330xi. There is more weight with the AWD so your 1/4 mile times may be a tit slower. But all in all the AWD is the best. It corners better, launches better.
My opinion though. Get what you want and don't worry about the slowness. The diff between the 2 is not noticeable.

Xenon lights are not standard equipment - they are an upgrade.

Your straight line acceleration may take a bit of a hit, but the AWD may help a little bit elsewhere. That said, the three series is already pretty well balanced.
