I am a Conservative and I personally am so tired of the name calling and finger pointing. This is America we have the freedom to believe how we want. I have supported some ideas put out by Liberals but not many but I honor their right to think what they want. I hope that sometime we can start talking issues again instead of "Bush is Satan" "No he's not"

Both liberal and conservative wings of the media -- whatever those terms are supposed to mean -- fall within the same framework of assumptions that are far to the Right on most issues.

I think those terms are meaningless and designed to divide people and in turn clouding the issues all people should be concerned with because they have very much to do with our daily lives.

But that would be a real democracy and both liberals and conservatives do not want true democracy.

In describing someones philosophy, you need a lot more detail than "liberal or conservative". It is not clear what you mean by "Battle of Philosophies" but there are clear and reasoned arguements for both ; and there are emotional appeals for every subject.

In the long run I would say the generalist survives and the specialist has a few bright and shining moments and flames out.

conservatives seem to have a "do anything to win" mentality... while I don't like losing either, I don't think you should sell your soul to win either... and sometimes I wonder with them...
from calling someone names "flip-flopper" to questioning a person's war medals... the last presidential election was pretty low...
I think people are tired of the Tom Delays and all the scandals (CIA leak, warrant less wiretapping, looking into finance records)

liberals seem to take a more issue based philosophy... Kerry didn't seem to get into the personal attacks as much.. .there was the thing with Cheney's daughter, but to me, that's kids play compared to what Bush and Co. did...

of course there are exceptions to this...

What will be extra efficient for our usa and our well-being is to make that determination a own one in straight forward words as in you stay your existence and that i'll stay mine and no individual tries to enslave others to their concepts by manipulating authorities administration .What we'd want to do to authorities now is to assert pass domicile you idiots you've spent each of the money take a vacation we do not favor you searching new projects to grant money to because there is none. each day I listen of latest projects to make investments in they purely do not get it or do not care. Congress we the persons do not favor you . you're the problem. it type of feels the democrats are bent on winding up all of there targets even as they have the probability inspite of if it destroys our usa. We the persons have outgrown this way administration that is time for us to fireside those human beings and undo each of the wear and tear they have finished and get rid of the potential for any destiny politicians to have this a lot potential ever back . We the persons no longer some lame *** categorized social gathering.

Liberalism generates the exact opposite of it's stated intent.
When Liberal's plan/action blows up in their faces....they blame it on the " vast right wing conspiracy".

Just look at the re-distribution of the wealth programs out there....like welfare...full of fraud and posers. All to get something for nothing.

liberals on the other hand eat the crap their fed by the media (i.e. ideas that sound lovely in theory, but lack any sensible application to the real world) and regurgitate it back out into society, contaminating other succeptible lemings
