I am getting married and i know there are good factors in it, but is it possible it might hurt me in a long run.

It only hurt you if you divorce. Before signing any legal papers, let a lawyer look it over first.

It will hurt you if he makes more than you and you divorce. But the courts generally won't let it completely screw you over if you did sign one. Get a lawyer to look over it, or...you can just sign it without a lawyer and when you get divorced say that you didn't have legal representation when you signed it so you didn't understand it and it should be voided. It's worked many times.

why would it hurt it's only a legal document that states that if you break up you leave with what you came into the marriage and she does the same and anything you two acquire together you would have to split!

no it shouldn't, but isn't t kid of saying your doomed to fail if you get a pre nump. I know they are there for the what ifs but doesn't it break the trust and love between to people. But financially it would not hurt you

No. They are simply put in place to protect both parties in the event of a divorce.

If you dont get one, then it will hurt you cause if you dont get one then you will have to split your assests with your mate.
