Many small mammals lived throughout the mesozoic. Some are still on the planet today. Dinosaurs were so dominant that the largest mammals were smaller than a house cat. The cretaceous period was the final period for the dinos. This from one who knows.

the footprints of man have been found along side of dinosaurs.but you won't here about that in our biased society that believes we came forth from primordial ooze.
