I've been attending St. Louis Pride the last 5 years (went just this last weekend) and I enjoy it every year! It's awesome to see so many of our gay brothers and sisters and those that support us...and be able to be ourselves! St. Louis is big...maybe not as big as Chicago or NYC, but then, I don't want to be around any bigger crowds...it's just right! We have a great time with all our friends in the park all day...and watching the parade, too!
this past weekend at Pride, my partner and I participated in the committment ceremony. One of these days, brothers and sisters....we will be able to do this legally. keep up the fight! and..keep up the celebrations!

holiday journeys and forced merriment at the instant are not my ingredient the two. i won't be in a position to stand Christmas or Valentines day. Birthdays are like wakes. incredibly I want funerals. you need to no longer ought to safeguard your self, it is not mandatory. He advance into merely making communication like a hairdresser asks while you're 'going out this evening'. i recently have been given dumped for no longer likely to the London one, yet that's because of the fact i'm no longer proud and do unlike communities of peculiar people invading my own area without good bathing room centers. in view that whilst is being gay a pastime that demands convention attendance?

Yes! My partner/husband and I marched with our two boys ages 6 and 8 in the San Francisco gay Pride Parade this past Sunday 6/25/06. Our boys really loved it (Surprisingly!). We even made signs to carry. I am especially proud of a sign I made that said,"God created and blessed our family" with the scripture John 3:16 at the bottom. I get tired of Right Wingers throwing their Bible and their God in my face. Being the asshole fag I am, I felt obliged to sling my Bible and my God right back at them. (Yes! Right Wingers have the gall to show up in San Francisco too. Sounds suicidal to me, but what do you expect from Southern Baptist minded idiots?) It was a very fun and empowering day for my whole family.

I LOVE Gay Pride events! One of the few place I can be myself, in the "real world" w/out worrying about someone doing me bodily harm. I can hold hands, kiss my sig. other and enjoy the great outdoors... Not too many pulic places we can do that... And yes, I'm a lesbian and have been all my life!

No, and I plan on keeping far away from them. As much as I would love to watch 100's of people of the same sex making out in public, in front of children...I think I'll pass.
