Also, if you like Cassidy, give me a suggestion for a middle name that would go with it. Can't think of one I like. Appreciate everyone's input. Thanks!

I LOVE Athena Rose. Wow! Powerful name!

Athena is the Greek Goddess of War Strategy and Wisdom (speak and owl by her side)! Then the symbol of the Rose, beauty.

I love that name...keep it.

We considered Athena for my baby girl, but decided to go with Grandmother's names.

I don't like the name Athena Rose at all. I picture an older lady with white hair and rollers in it. But Ryley is cute because it can also be a boys name. Elizabeth is too common, especially when coinsided with such an uncommon name as Ryley. I think a good middle name for Cassidy is Elyse (pronounced
E-leese) My favorite name on earth is Amaris I'm not giving away the middle name though, because thats all mine! LOL

Ryley Elizabeth is nice
Athena Rose, not so much
Cassidy is very nice. Since Cassidy is 3 syllables, the middle name should have only one or two syllables, such as Cassidy Lyn, Cassidy Jane, or Cassidy Renee, Cassidy Loren. Good luck choosing.

I love girl names with the letter 'L' in them! I think they are elegant! Gloria. Sylvia. Leslie. Even Ryley. Alternative spellings sometimes cause future grief for the name-ee. If Ryley is not a family spelling, I'd stick with Riley. Also, I only put four syllable middle names with one syllable first names. How about Ryley Athena? I'd use Cassidy only with a single syllable middle name. What's wrong with Cassidy Rose? I LOVE flower names!

I love the name Cassidy... it is just trendy enough and classic enough to not be weird.

I would pair it with a slightly more classic name however like Anne. I think you want to go with one syllable name.

I do know an Athena. The parents are always asked why they named her such. It is beautiful... although it does hint toward ethnic if you are so inclined.

Once you name her; you'll never regret it
