it should be illegal because all Religions are fake

Even if it's made illegal, how is the government going to monitor this? It will be just too messy. If it wasn't that way I am 100% for parents not forcing religious teachings onto their children, especially knowing how some of the extreme religious teachings can permanently damage a child. An example of this is asexuality.

Religion should never be FORCED on anyone. Children can be exposed to religion so they know what it is, but it depends on who's doing it. It shouldn't be the schools because they'd have to present every religion fairly because there are so many students from so many backgounds. That, and our public school system hates Christianity.

If anyone should expose children to religion, it should be the parents.

No! That would be enacting a law and the separation of church and state is one of the greatest founding principals of the USA.

It is unfortunate that many parents subject their children to rigorous religious training when they haven't yet reached the age of reason. Hopefully they will also see that their children are educated and self assured enough to make their own choices as young adults.

that is a eye-catching question in view that many condemn the practice as baby abuse. i believe certain that if a baby extremely objected and sought help from baby amenities that the end result often is the elimination of the baby from the domicile yet look on the heartache curious about that! that is so unhappy that once faith comes earlier love that love turns to hatred so right now! actually if there's a loving god such moms and dads are certain for hell?!

Many kids can think for themselves before age 13. I'd say there's nothing wrong with parents bringing their kids to church with them, but any "forcing" on anybody's part is inappropriate.

no it shouldn't be illegal because hopefully they will chose there religion on there own. and if it you until the age of 13 to think for yourself then you have issues. and yes you've just been dissed.

Parents are supposed to teach their kids to pray and send them to church, sunday school, or hebrew school - and whatever else they got. Then the kids know one point of view, when they get older they can decide if that's the one they want to keep or not

You can "force" as badly as you want I guess since they are your kids, but in the end they will choose for themselves, and maybe even resent you for forcing.
