He is, he is just waiting for you to say the ok I want to have a family, too. Just have a family, you know you want it. He brings it up, it must be for a reason. Talk to him about it. He probably does. Most guys do as they grow. Just have a family, if not now then when. He is probably not pushing you which is sweet , you know he is saying he is not ready so if you aren't you don't feel pressured but subtle hints of him bringing it up might mean that if you do want to , he might want to too. And if that is true. It's sweet that he is giving YOU a chance to decide!

You should have a nice dinner and a romantic evening, and cuddle up to him after that and just talk to him about your future, and kinda hint that you would like to have a kid. Or you could start sayin wouldnt it be nice to have.... and put a kid into the picture. Or just straigth out tell him. If you want a kid you will eventually come to an agreement. Good luck

hmm....If he's not ready, why does he keep talking about it? Perhaps he's just nervous. Who wouldn't be? Talk to him openly and honestly about it. Tell him how you feel. Maybe you can make a compromise somewhere as to when to actively start trying for that little bundle of joy...and believe me, it IS a bundle of pure joy when you have your baby. What a gift! And what a responsibility! Good luck.

tell him its time state your reasons why now is good and if that does not work the positive prego test always works. Show him all the joys of having a son or a baby girl to unconditionally love her daddy. Good luck

Well, I told my husband that we were going to have to decide one way or the other before I reached 35:
"I want to have children, but only if you're on board. It's ok if you don't want to go that route, but we really need to come to an agreement and decide one way or another, and soon."

Tell him he would make a great father and to get his pants down for some fun and excitement! :)
Be sure you go to your OB/GYN before conceiving so you can get your pap done, get on prenatals and make sure everything is okay with you. Stop any drinking or smoking before you are preggos too, that way you don't have to think back and wonder.
Good luck!

Give him an old bell alarm clock with a picture of a newborn on the face. That should get the idea across.

Make an appointment to get your tubes tied. Pretend to go to the appointment and come back and tell him you will have to wait until the baby is born before you can have your tubes tied.
